What I collect when you request a quote, and what I do with it.

Last updated: January 2026

The short version

This is a one-man machine shop, not a data company. I collect the information you give me on the quote form so I can price your job, talk to you about it, and ship your parts. I don't sell your information, and I don't share it beyond what's needed to run your order.

What I collect

  • Contact details you submit on the quote form: name, company, email, phone
  • Job details you submit: material, quantity, timeline, notes, and any uploaded drawing or STEP file
  • Basic technical information your browser sends automatically, like pages visited, for keeping the site running

How I use it

  • To quote and communicate with you about a job
  • To produce and ship parts if we move forward
  • To keep records required for material traceability or documentation you request

Who sees it

Your information goes to me, and to the service providers that run the quote form and email delivery on my behalf (form processing and email delivery infrastructure). I don't sell information, and I don't hand it to advertisers or data brokers.

California residents (CCPA)

As a small business, this site does not sell personal information and does not need to comply with every provision of the CCPA, but you can still ask me to tell you what I have on file, or ask me to delete it. Email contact@murphyscnc.com and I'll handle it directly.

How long I keep it

Quote and order information is kept as long as reasonably needed for the job, follow-up work, and any traceability or documentation requirements tied to that order.
